Lead planner Ashley Duncan has been in the wedding industry for over 6 years, and got her start as the superstar venue coordinator at The National Aviary--a favorite Day of Pgh wedding venue!
Ashley’s planning style? Calm, organized and empathetic. She also loves a good celebration, and values the creativity and design that goes into weddings, especially florals!
The moment you walk into your reception space and see your vision come to life is the highlight of Ashley’s day as your coordinator, and as a newlywed herself, she loves making every couple feel as special as she did on her wedding day.
Ashley is also a huge part of the #dayofpgh executive team: She’s the ~girl boss~ managing our planning meetings, prepping all of those important vendor emails during wedding weeks, and keeps things organized AF for our kickass couples.

Hands down, our #1 advice has been to hire a day of planner--specifically Ashley!
No amount of wedding website browsing/reading would have prepared us to have the wedding we envisioned without Day of Pgh’s magical planning skills!
Seriously, I have no idea what happened behind-the-scenes because Ashley was so on top of everything, which allowed my husband and I to be present with each other and the family/friends we hadn't seen in so long. It was the perfect night, which would have never been possible without Heather and Ashley.
