Wanna be part of wedding world?

We’re looking for a planning assistants to support our team next month!

Our #dayofpgh assistants help out with set up, breakdown, and everything in between on a wedding day. Here’s a giant list of tasks our assistants tackle with us:

  • Setting up/placing misc. DIY items, candles, decorations

  • Cuing ceremony music

  • Supporting all the other wedding vendors as necessary (DJ, photog, etc.)

  • Lining up bridal party for ceremony/entrances/speeches

  • Running drinks and appetizers to the bride or groom and bridal party

  • Corralling guests for family photos

  • Bustling the bride's gown

  • Coordinating shuttle/limo transportation

  • Flipping the reception space/moving chairs/misc. furniture

  • Making emergency errands to the store for random stuff

  • Coffee runs!

  • Breaking down event decoration at the end of the night

  • …A bunch of other random stuff

Must be available on Saturdays (duh), have your own transportation, a positive mindset, and be able to take direction. If you’re looking to break into the wedding industry, this position would be a great first step.

The pay rate is $15 per hour, plus a hot vendor meal…and a box of to-go cookies! Each wedding will be approx. 8-10 hours.
